Traveler's Notebook Workshop - TN 101 + Make & Take Your Own Accessories || $50

Calling all planner, paper & crafting lovers!  Are you someone that loves to use a paper planner (known as an analog planning system)?  Or, do you enjoy paper crafting and creating fun and exciting things to embellish your planners, notebooks, etc.?  If so, we have the workshop just for you.  Learn about the Traveler's Notebook System, while creating your own personalized system to work with your needs.  The Traveler’s Notebook (TN) is a “notebook system” that consists of a cover with elastic bands inside to allow the user to connect their notebooks (aka inserts) and other accessories.  This system is completely customizable and allows you to switch out or refill your notebook shell as you need.  The system was created by a Japanese based company, Midori Traveler’s Notebook & was designed to be a companion for travelers to capture their journey through writing, sketching or collecting.  

In this workshop, attendees will: 

Design & create their own TN Pocket Folder 

Create a simple, but cute Shaker Bookmark to use as a page marker within their TN 

Embellished Paperclips (2 paperclips will be made for your TN) 

And build their Washi Sample Collection (3 samples per attendee, select from various washi tapes available) 

Instructions & supplies are included in the fee. Registered attendees will also receive as a part of their kit: 1 Handcrafted Traveler’s Notebook (made from faux leather or vinyl) with Elastics (Fits 5x7" inserts - known as a B6) 

2 Insert Books (composition notebook style and/or blank insert) 

Pen 

Post-it’s (sticky notes) 

Random selection of stickers to use in their notebook

By the end of this class, you will take home a notebook system that is ready to use as a planner, list maker, diary, sketchbook, traveling journal, etc.  Please note that the Traveler's Notebook and accessories can vary in color and/or style due to availability.

BIO: Honey & Harmony Co. is a joint collaboration between two sisters and their passion for all things creativity.   Honey Kaho’ohanohano is the Chief Editor and Owner of Honeygirl’s World, a popular Lifestyle & Beauty Blog.  She also has her own YouTube Channel & Podcast.  Honey has been featured in Allure & Lucky Magazine, and has been an ambassador for many brands like L’Oreal, Urban Decay, MAC Cosmetics, Dove, Tressemme, Sony Entertainment, Pixi Beauty and many many more.  Honey has an extensive background in Public Relations, Blogging & Being an Influencer, as well as Social Media Management.  She also has been creating jewelry pieces now for over 17 years (some of her work was featured on shows like Jerseylicious) and she loves planners (to keep her schedule organized & release her creative outlet), stationery and all things crafty.  As a modern day entrepreneur, she works diligently to provide the tools of the trade and teach others to be able to make a living at what she has done for over 12 years.

Harmony Young is an artistic creator who wears many hats.  She’s a creative soul who is currently attending college full time while balancing several part-time jobs.  She loves planning and decorating, crafts and scrapbooking and tries to balance these things all while working on obtaining her BA degree.  Her varied expertise and skill set are an important driving force and factor in the success of Honey & Harmony Co and it allows Harmony to use her creativity in ways that day to day life may not offer.
